For a major renovation for a senior community based in Danville California, Kai -Yee Woo and Associates focused on creating an upscaled hospitality environment by using warm color schemes enhances by higher lighting levels and lighting color temperature for the senior population.

Interior finish materials on floors and walls are carefully selected to prevent depth perception of aging vision. Furniture and upholstery were chosen for ease of use by the elderly, durability and maintenance. A Main Street design concept was created for the residents to go to Beauty Salon, Exercise Room, Gift Shop, and Cafe.

Provided an upscaled senior facilities surrounded by large scale single homes in one of the sunniest part of suburb of San Francisco Bay area. A unique “main street” design concept encourages residents to participate in various day activities in cafe, salon, gift shop, gym and arts and crafts classes.
